The meeting in collaboration with World Bank Group organized by Financial Regulatory Department was held to get comments, needs, and coordination efforts from domestic insurers and foreign insurance representative offices, on sustainable development of Myanmar insurance sector and its liberalization mechanism, at Kempinski Hotel Nay Pyi Taw from 10 am to 3pm of October 18, with domestic insurers and of October 19, with foreign representative offices, respectively.
Financial Regulatory Department, under the Ministry of Planning and Finance, Nay Pyi Taw held theregular meeting (1 / 2017),dated (23-1-2017) on Monday from 10:00 to 17:00, at the meeting room, to discuss about the subject to strengthen the insurance market development in Myanmar and to solve the problems of the insurer and the insurance companies in line with law and rules, to establish the Open Insurance Market Operation, to establish the Pure (Perfect) Competition Market, to be non-monopolistic stage, enable to operate the co-insurance by the local/foreign companies, to have Heterogeneou
