As small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) are in the main sector of national economic development, the government is encouraging their development. Accordingly, the State-owned Myanma Economic Bank(MEB) will disburse loans to entrepreneurs who are actually running the businesses and in need of capital investments under this special programme.
Loan eligible enterprises
The Government is encouraging development of agricultural and livestock breeding enterprises, small and medium enterprises and construction companies in accord with national economic policies. In doing so, assistance will be provided for acquisition of capital needed for the enterprises in accord with the prescribed rules and regulations. Accordingly, the State-owned Myanma Economic Bank (MEB) will disburse loans to entrepreneurs who are actually running the businesses and in need of capital investments under the special programme.
Myanma Economic Bank , the member of Myanmar Payment Union is being implemented Retail Payment to cashless society. Now, the following Myanma Economic Bank (52) branches issued ATM cards on 5-5-2017 are initially need to enter (https://www.myanmarpaymentunion.com) and do Online Enrollment. After that MEB' MPU ATM card holders are eligible to obtain new E-Commer Service via online since 2017 October.
